KST Sai who wasinjured did not bat. Sunil Oasis took the last wicket to finish withfive for 27.Kerala required 162 runs for victory. They were off to a good startwith opener MP Sorab (52) and S Shankar (30) putting on 62 runs forthe second wicket off 20.3 overs. Kerala lost wickets at regularintervals but Sorab stood firm until he was fifth out at 122. He faced118 balls and hit five fours. There was some excitement however as twomore batsmen were dismissed and the Kerala score was 141 when theseventh wicket fell. Suresh Kumar at No 9 however played some boldstrokes and hit 19 off 20 balls with three hits to the ropes andKerala were home without any further loss. Kerala got eight points andAndhra nil.
