Harry Kane has been busy picking out some of his favourite players in quickfire quiz games with GOAL. The England captain named Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as part of his selection, as well as greats such as Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry. Former Three Lions strikers Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch were also on Kane's shortlist, as well as Bayern Munich team-mate Joshua Kimmich.

The England captain has played alongside, and against, some of the best players in the world during his career so far. He also knows a thing or two about scoring goals after netting 280 times in 435 appearances for Tottenham before moving to Bayern Munich. Kane has been prolific in the German top flight too, scoring 103 goals in 106 appearances for the Bundesliga giants, and finally ending his long wait for a trophy last season when Vincent Kompany's side were crowned Bundesliga champions.
GOAL asked Kane to name some of his favourite players and had no hesitation in picking out some of the best goalscorers the game has ever seen. Ronaldo and Messi were, perhaps inevitably, given a shoutout by the England captain, but there was also a few more surprising selections from the 32-year-old Bayern star.

Kane also had a few more names up his sleeve when quizzed on some of the best qualities in the game. Chelsea legend Didier Drogba was given the nod when it comes to strength, while Barcelona legends Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets were also given a shoutout by Kane. John Terry and Peter Crouch were other ex-England team-mates to get a mention, while Bayern left-back Alphonso Davies was recognised for his rip-roaring pace.
