United have already approached RB Leipzig about a possible deal for the forward in the winter, reports. There have been no official offers or negotiations between the two teams as of yet. Real Madrid have also been linked with him but are not pushing to sign him at the moment.

Werner is not completely happy with his situation at Leipzig. He has started just two of the eight Bundesliga games in which he has featured this season and scored two goals. However, he is said to be willing to wait until the summer transfer window before contemplating a move away.
